With news of the South African Covid-19 variant spreading to the Wooburn Green area, everyone living and working in the HP10 postcode area is being urged to get tested.
Buckinghamshire Council is urging everyone living and working in the postcode area over the age of 16 to take a PCR Covid-19 test this week, even if they are not showing symptoms.

Walk through testing:
- Bucks New University, Queen Alexandra Road
- Buckinghamshire Council, The Gateway Car Park, Aylesbury
These sites are open for use by anyone who has coronavirus symptoms, and appointments must be booked first – they are not ‘drop-in’ sites.
Drive through testing:
- Aylesbury Vale Parkway Station
Testing is only available to those with coronavirus symptoms such as a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste. Appointments are being made available each day.
Rapid test sites:
- Buckinghamshire Council Offices, Queen Victoria Road, High Wycombe, HP11 1BB
- Amersham Free Church, Woodside Road, Amersham, HP6 6AJ
- Aylesbury, Unit 3, Vale Retail Park, 658 Vale Park Drive, Aylesbury, HP20 1DH
- Buckingham, Swan Pool and Leisure Centre, London Road, Buckingham, MK18 1AE

Rapid tests are now available for anybody who needs to leave home to work or volunteer. It is a fast and free way for people without symptoms to find out if they have the virus.

All rapid testing sites are open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 7.15pm. In addition, the Aylesbury, High Wycombe and Buckingham sites are open Saturday to Sunday, 10.30am to 3.15pm.
The Amersham site is open on Saturday from 10.30am to 3.15pm and is closed on Sundays.
Home test kits (surge testing) will be delivered to residents in Wooburn Green and parts of Flackwell Heath from tomorrow (Thursday).

If you live in a surge testing area and have not received a home test kit, and do not have symptoms, visit the Wooburn Green mobile test site at Red Lion Public House Car Park, 41 The Green, Wooburn Green, HP10 0EU.
If you have symptoms and have not received a home testing kit in a surge testing area, you should order a test at www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or call 119.
