Major plans have been submitted by Lidl to open up a store in Marlow to replace Waitrose on Chapel Street.
Waitrose closed its doors in October 2019 and Lidl has proposed extending the building onto Liston Road to increase the shop floor.

The ground floor would be the main shop with the first floor a staff room and warehouse.
The proposed opening hours are 7am to 10pm.
A determination deadline for the application has been set for April 15.
The application reads: “The proposed development will comprise the extensions and alterations of the existing building to form a Lidl retail store, with associated hard landscaping and service areas."

It continues: "The proposals will contribute towards an improved local retail provision, with increased choice and competition, and will provide new full and part-time job opportunities for the local community.”
