A Buckinghamshire councillor has died after a tough battle with cancer, his colleagues have confirmed.
Cllr Bill Bendyshe-Brown, from Bledlow, had represented residents in the Risborough area for a number of years as part of the county, district and town council and was even chairman of Wycombe District Council.
His colleague Cllr Mark Shaw announced his sad passing on Twitter, saying: "Very saddened that my friend and colleague Bill Bendyshe Brown has passed away after a tough battle with cancer."

He added: "There will be very few people like him in public service."
It has prompted an outpouring of tributes for Cllr Bendyshe-Brown - affectionately known as B3 to many.
Council leader Martin Tett said it was a "real loss to Buckinghamshire".
And Chiltern Rangers said: "That is sad, a really decent chap who supported us and one of only a few councillors to come out and spend time in the woods with us. He will be missed. RIP Bill."
Another described him as a "genuinely top bloke and proper gent".
