A Bucks pub was named one of the best pubs in the UK by GQ and is definitely one to visit for a drink.
The list named some of Britain’s oldest pub and top chefs but it was Marlow’s Michelin star chef that made the cut.

In the heart of Marlow Tom Kerridge brings two declining industries - high-street butchers and traditional pubs - and combines the two ingeniously.
The Butchers Tap opened in 2019, with all meat sourced and butchered on-site as the pub made GQ's list for 'Best pubs in the UK for a peaceful pint and gastro grub'
Inside you’ll find Hereford-cross Aberdeen Angus slabs dry-ageing in the windows besides cast-iron mincers adorning the walls.

Packington corn-fed chicken is kept in the chiller alongside game from West Wycombe Estate, and strings of sausages made in-house.
They stock local beers, such as Rebellion Smuggler on draught and a simple menu witrh daily evening specials.
The menu includes a fiery hot dog smothered with pulled pork and pickled chillies and hot sausage rolls.
