Plans to build dozens of homes in a High Wycombe field have finally been submitted.
The land, off Horns Lane, is owned by Buckinghamshire Council - and they initially revealed intentions to build up to 62 homes there back in September last year.
However, after a public consultation, that number has been reduced to up to 50 - with plans seemingly suggesting there could be 47 homes built there.
The 4.4-acre field, which is surrounded by Horns Lane, The Paddocks and Linnet Close and is near the M40, used to be in the Green Belt but it was removed as part of the Wycombe District Local Plan and allocated for housing instead.

As a result of the consultation, which had feedback from 60 residents, the majority of flats that were planned for the site have been replaced with houses and the orientation of the houses that would back onto Linnet Close have been changed to prevent overlooking.
Another play area has been added to the north of the site and a footpath along the western side, along with a new footpath to Cressex Road.
There would also be 106 parking spaces, including 12 visitor spaces.
If given the go-ahead, there will be a mix of one-bed flats up to five-bed houses. The majority of the buildings will be two-storey, but there could be three-storey ones in the north west corner.
The new housing estate will be accessed off Horns Lane and a network of pedestrian routes will also be created.
At the moment, this is only an outline planning application, meaning finer details of the plans have not yet been revealed.
