This year Valentine's day will be a bit different as no restaurants will be open but there is still time to order a meal in.
Across Bucks pubs and restaurants have put together Valentine’s menus that customers can order to their front door.

There's still time to order a meal kit from a range of eateries but places have been selling out quickly.
From seafood to steaks, some including drinks, here we take a look at some of the pubs and restaurants in Bucks offering meals to enjoy at home this Valentine's Day.

The Hit and Miss
The Hit and Miss is located on Penn Street and they have put together a Valentine’s menu that includes a bottle of bubbly.
A range of options has been added to this menu with four mains up for selection for your Valentine's meal.
The slow-roasted lamb shank served with champ mash, root vegetables, and a red wine jus is the standout choice on the menu.
The restaurant is delivering to Penn, Winchmore Hill, Amersham, Holmer Green, Hazlemere, Totteridge, Beaconsfield, Seer Green, Gerrards Cross, The Chalfonts, and Chesham.

Gusto
Gusto is an independent and family-run restaurant in Amersham that serves fresh, quality, and locally sourced produce.
Chef and owner Allan has over 31 years’ experience and has now put together a Valentine’s menu that has a variety of choices.
A fillet of sea bream, a fillet of beef wellington, or aubergine parmigiana; you have the choice as the restaurant is offering three choices each for starter, main, and dessert.
All orders must be made by February 12 to be ready for valentine’s day.

The Squirrel
The Squirrel is a rural country pub in High Wycombe and today (February 9) is the last day you can order a valentines day box from them.
The box even includes candles to give you the restaurant feel in your own home.
With three different boxes on offer, customers can order an induvial box, a meat sharer, or a fish sharer.

Lomoti
You can order Valentine's Day feast for two from Lomito creating your own steak experience this Sunday in the comfort of your own home.
The Valentine's box contains mixed empanadas, spicy chorizo pinchos, a 600g chimichurri basted sirloin (grilled pink or well done), thin fries, grilled vegetables, pepper & bearnaise sauce
And for dessert a double portion of churros with dulce de leche dip and a jar of Lomito's award-winning chimichurri sauce.

The Cape
With the last orders being today (February 9) you will need to be quick to book a home delivery for this weekend.
The Cape offers a South African twist to their food and has been part of Beaconsfield new town for over 19 years.
The eye-catching part of this menu has to be the starters on offer; a choice from ‘Beetroot Tart with Goats Cheese, Walnut and a Honey Mustard Dressing’ or ‘Smoked Salmon, Potato Rosti with a Dill and Lemon Creme Fraiche’.

The Ivy House
The Ivy House has produced two different options for customers this Valentines weekend.
Customers can pick up a three-course meal that needs finishing up at home for £25.95 or can pick up cooked meals on the night for £35.95.
Some of the starter options include; Prawn cocktail, Baked camembert or Duck and orange pate.
For the mains you can order; ‘Fillet of salmon with a parsley cream sauce’, ‘Herb encrusted lamb rack’ or ‘Beef wellington with a red wine jus’/

The Bell at Chartridge
The Bell is a traditional, free house country pub Situated in the Chiltern village of Chartridge.
Elvire and Philip Bailey have run The Bell since 2003 and now are offering a delivery service in lockdown.
For their Valentine’s menu, they are offering dishes including smoked haddock, chicken wellington, and chocolate fondant.
