The people of Aylesbury have been told to report ‘suspicious individuals’ to the police, after a man was allegedly seen going to properties ‘claiming to be there for a meter reading.’

The man, who was wearing a hi-viz jacket, reportedly had no form of identification or meter reading equipment with him.

In a brief Facebook post that was published by TVP Aylesbury Vale on Thursday, February 4, they said: “If anyone arrives at your address to do work on your property that you are not expecting, please ask for identification and do not let them into your property.
