Concerns are growing after there have been several reports of people ‘trying car door handles’ in small villages in Bucks.
Residents in Stoke Mandeville and Aston Clinton, which are both near Aylesbury, reported their concerns to Thames Valley Police.

In a brief Facebook post that was published on January 29 by Aylesbury Vale TVP, they said: “We are urging all residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
“Please be mindful about what is left inside your vehicles and ensure that any valuables are kept out of sight. #P0914 #C9145.”
It was not disclosed where exactly in Aston Clinton the ‘suspicious activity’ was taking place, but in Stoke Mandeville, it was reported that it was happening in Station Road.

Station Road is near the village’s primary school.
