With last weekend’s snow, many people around Bucks ventured around Bucks and enjoyed sledging on hills around the county.

However, in Marlow at Happy Valley, a popular destination for sledgers, the landowner of Hooks Farm was unable to let her sheep back into the fields.
This came after an empty bottle of brandy, a pile of lager cans and 20 used firework cases were found.
Unable to check for broken glass until the snow had melted, the field couldn’t be fully inspected for the sheep to re-enter the area

The landowner wants residents to enjoy the Happy Valley if more snow does fall but “respect the environment”.
They said: “There are always those who abuse this privilege and damage fences gaining entry and worst of all leave their rubbish for the Landowner to clear up.
“We will have to wait until all the snow melts to inspect all areas thoroughly for broken glass before the sheep can go back for grazing.

“Please people of Marlow - if you want to enjoy the snow in Happy Valley , respect the environment and take your detritus back home with you - not forgetting the broken sledges and plastic bags of dog poo.
“Thank you, in anticipation of the next snowfall.”

A yellow weather warning for snow has been issued for Bucks this weekend with warning is in place between 3am on Saturday morning and 6pm on Saturday evening.
