A van caught fire on a busy motorway on Wednesday, sending plumes of black smoke into the air.
The huge blaze broke out in the vehicle while it was travelling southbound on the M40 between junction 2 for Beaconsfield and junction 1a for the M25.
Two lanes had to be coned off while firefighters dealt with the fire, which completely destroyed the van.

Firefighters were called to the scene just after 4pm on Wednesday, January 27.
Crews from Gerrards Cross and Slough managed to bring the fire under control using hose reels and breathing apparatus.
The two closed lanes were then fully reopened once safe enough to do so.
