The smell of smoke was reported from an empty shopping unit in Milton Keynes.
At around 11.30am on Wednesday, January 27, fire engines from West Ashland Fire Station, Broughton Fire Station and Newport Pagnell Fire Station respectively, attended the scene along with a fire officer at Midsummer Place in Central Milton Keynes.

It was revealed that the incident was caused by 'a short circuit in strip lighting', according to Bucks Fire and Rescue.
The incident was then left with on-site maintenance.
There were no reported injuries.
