Police are urging drivers not to head out onto the roads unless "absolutely necessary" as heavy snow covers the county.
Thames Valley Police's roads policing team say they are dealing with "multiple" crashes on major roads like the M40, the M4 and the A34 in Oxford and urged everyone to stay at home.
One of the incidents included a jackknifed lorry which burst its fuel tank on the A34.
