Pictures from London Road from 10am show the road fairly clear – but just 20 minutes later, with the snow coming thick and fast, the road started to become covered.
It comes after Bucks residents woke up to heavy snow this morning after several weather warnings were issued by the Met Office this week.
Areas across High Wycombe are blanketed, including Micklefield, Wycombe Marsh and Sands, while the M40 and A404 are also reported to be congested because of the snow.
Thames Valley Police is asking people to travel only if absolutely necessary after dealing with multiple crashes on the M40 and M4.
