Firefighters were called to Summerhouse Hill, Buckingham yesterday, when a lorry damaged the block of flats there shortly before 7pm.
An engine and crew from Buckingham attended with an officer and carried out an internal check of the three-storey building.
Three appliances and crews from Aylesbury, one from Brackley and another officer were also mobilised, but recalled before they arrived on the scene.
No-one was injured in the incident and it is understood no-one had to be evacuated.
It is likely that it was a satnav issue that led to an articulated lorry striking the block of flats in this no-through road.
