Man 'died in alleyway after taking heroin and cocaine' 

A man was found on a mattress in a High Wycombe alleyway after taking cocaine and heroin, an inquest heard earlier this week.

Paramedics desperately tried to save Lewis Hickman, 41, after they were called to a woodland area off Link Close on the evening of September 5 last year.

Work begins to build Aylesbury's new Sainsbury's store

Construction work for Aylesbury’s new Sainsbury’s store will begin next week.

The supermarket will be built on the corner of Bicester Road and Gatehouse Road.

This will no doubt cause several delays on the roads as there will be a ‘new traffic signal controlled, four-way junction’, which will ‘provide access to the new site from Gatehouse Road and will include the current Gatehouse Way turn-off’.

 

Star Wars set built for spin-off show in Little Marlow

A giant film set has been built in Little Marlow that is rumoured to be for the new Star Wars TV series.

Built alongside the Spade Oak nature reserve the set includes dozens of houses, seemingly creating a galactic village for the filming of the show.

Next to the film set, there is a row of marquees expected to be used for dressing rooms, production facilities, and equipment.

The Misbourne school to develop multi-million-pound sport facilities

A secondary school in Great Missenden has received the go-ahead for a multi-million-pound re-development of its sports facilities

The Misbourne's development will include an indoor sports hall, a performance studio, student changing rooms, staff changing rooms, and extra office space.

In addition to this, there will be a redesign of the student coach drop-off area and a new larger car park for school and community use when hiring facilities.

Investigation launched after 19-year-old kidnapped and attacked

A 19-year-old man was kidnapped in Milton Keynes on Tuesday afternoon.

Between 4pm and 4.30pm, the man was walking along Woolmans in Fullers Slade when he was approached by a man who then told him to get into a car that was parked nearby.

Inside the car were another two men and the car drove away with the victim inside.

Whilst in the car, the three men demanded money and punched him a number of times to the head.
