A man died yesterday when two cars were involved in a crash at the crossroads of Werner Terrace and Perry Hill between Calvert and Charndon.
A red Vauxhall Corsa which was travelling along Werner Terrace and a white Seat Ibiza which was travelling on Perry Hill were in collision at 8.35am.
The driver of the Corsa, a man in his thirties from Buckinghamshire, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and specially trained officers are supporting them.

The driver of the Seat, a woman in her thirties and her child were taken to the John Radcliffe hospital but were later discharged.
Investigating officers PC Julia Stroud of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Bicester, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family of the man who has lost his life following this collision.
“We are investigating the circumstances and would ask anyone with information or if they have dash-cam footage of the incident to please come forward.
