Police are urging for witnesses to come forward following an attempted burglary in High Wycombe – the fourth one in two weeks.
Between 5.15pm on Monday, January 18 and 6.45am on Tuesday, January 19, the culprits tried to break into a property on Gayhurst Road.
The house wasn’t broken into and no items were reportedly taken.

Since the start of the year, there have been several burglaries in the town.
Between January 15 and January 16, items such as jewellery were stolen from a house in Maybrook Gardens, designer handbags were taken from a property in Rydal Way, whilst more jewellery was taken from a home in Stokenchurch.
Investigating officer P1739 Paulina Wodzynska of the Investigation Hub based at High Wycombe said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43210023879.

“If you don’t want to speak directly to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
“No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
