It's probably everyone’s least favourite ‘L’ word - lockdown.

This week, we asked our camera club members to sum up lockdown in one picture.

From empty playgrounds to beautiful nature walks and taking up new hobbies, this is what lockdown has meant to them.

Bucks Free Press:

Angie Bond said lockdown gave her the time and space to get her paints out.

Bucks Free Press:

Carlene O’Rourke set up perches to feed the birds on her patio so she could still do her favourite hobby – photography.

Bucks Free Press:

Toni Standing sorted through her grandparents things during the first lockdown and found these - one which aptly said ‘Clean hands for health’.

Bucks Free Press:

Describing his picture, Graham Parkinson said, "We're not out of the woods but there are rays of hope."

He said it represents our "reconnection with our environment in lockdown - be that trees, wildlife, sunsets or just our towns".

Bucks Free Press:

Jonathan Rogers found lockdown gave him the chance to experiment with more video game photography, with this picture taken from the latest Assassin's Creed.

He said: "With current and last gen of graphics, most games are highly detailed and offer very realistic settings - without stepping one foot out of the door."

Bucks Free Press:

Anne Rixon discovered many beautiful routes close to home during the first lockdown, that she "never would have found otherwise" - such as this bridge, running alongside the Chinnor/Risborough railway track.

Bucks Free Press:

Phil Mustow thought this empty play area, in Desborough Street, High Wycombe, during the summer was particularly poignant.

Bucks Free Press:

Peter Martin also enjoyed walks wth family and "enjoying the simple things".

Bucks Free Press:

Catherine Andrews said lockdown for her was "lots of walks and meeting with 'friends' I didn't have to keep two metres away from".

Bucks Free Press:

Denise Lofting took in homeless little 'Dave' over lockdown and gave him a home.
