We are hurtling through January, Christmas now a distant memory for most of us, and 2021 hasn't got off to the best start.
So in a change of conversation from Covid, Brexit or Trump, let's get romantic.
In the run-up to Valentine's Day, instead of trawling through Amazon for inspiration, we're asking readers to share photos and memories of their wedding day.
It could be the big day of you, your parents or grandparents. Maybe it wasn't such a big day, but no less memorable.
My own parents' wedding in the 80s took place in India, so it was anything but a simple affair - hundreds of people were invited to the wedding, even more to the reception, but it was still a great day for them surrounded by close family and friends.
From the classic look of the 40s and 50s to the opulence and volume of the 80s, and everything in between, share your photos and stories with us.
Let's spread some love.
You can submit photos and memories using the link below or emailing shruti.sheth@newsquest.co.uk.
