A site has been set up at the Odeon Cinema in Aylesbury for vaccinations to take place to stop the spread of Covid-19.
Confirmed by Buckinghamshire Council on Sunday, January 17, the popular picture house on Exchange Street joins surgeries in Oakfield, Berryfields, Haddenham and Meadowcroft to name just a few within the town, that will administer the vaccine.

In a brief statement, Buckinghamshire Council said: “A new vaccine site in Aylesbury is now live at the Odeon Cinema.
“It’s a pharmacy-led site that can be booked via the National booking system if you receive a letter.”
The site will be open from today [Monday, January 18].

The cinema has been shut during the three lockdowns to ease public gatherings which could stop the spread of the virus.
The third and current lockdown came into play on Monday, January 4, 2021.
