The award is decided by current and former employees who voluntarily and anonymously leave reviews on Glassdoor.
The Director of Softcat’s HR department, Rebbeca Monk, was thrilled to pick up the award after a tricky year dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “I’m delighted that our people have rated Softcat as one of the best places to work and I’m proud that we have a culture in which our employees can grow and thrive.
“As a company, we have all pulled together during the challenges of the last 12 months without furloughing anyone.
“In fact, quite the opposite, we are still growing and hiring new people every day and have grown headcount by over 100 people since the start of our new fiscal year in August 2020.
“This award is a testament to our people who drive and embody our culture every day and to our leadership team who lead with transparency, warmth, clear communication and put our people at the core of everything we do.
