In this week's Then and Now, we take a look at familiar buildings around Marlow.
This first picture from around 1904 shows the two buildings of The Crown Hotel in the background of a view of the northern end of the High Street.
The scene looks different today with part of the hotel now a Boots, but the buildings still stand proud with the obelisk also there.

This second photo from August 1958 shows a view of the entrance porch to Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School and adjacent dwellings in West Street.
The street and buildings have not changed much in 63 years.
