A High Wycombe school has unveiled a new headteacher, following the departure of Mr Ben Kenyon after 21 years at the school.
Mrs Sarah Hobby, former Deputy Head of Highfield Preparatory School in Maidenhead, will become the first female headteacher at Crown House Preparatory School.
Mrs Hobby has previously worked as deputy headteacher of Highfield Preparatory School in Maidenhead and deputy head of Pre-Prep and Housemistress of the Junior Girls Boarding House at Marlborough College Malaysia, a sister school to Marlborough College UK.
Mrs Sarah Hobby said: “Crown House is an exceptional school with a unique family atmosphere where pupils thrive and are allowed to fulfil their full potential. “Pupils are at the heart of everything that happens at Crown House.
“I will be looking at ways in which we can strengthen this even further through nurturing pastoral care and an even broader curriculum that includes greater outdoor learning opportunities and a focus on wellbeing for our pupils and their families.”
Anita Gleave, founder of Chatsworth Schools said, “We are delighted that Mrs Sarah Hobby has joined Crown House.
“Mrs Hobby is committed to the values, ethos and distinctive feel of Crown House and I believe she will be a real asset for the school.
“I know she will work tirelessly in the best interests of pupils and staff to enable outstanding futures for all.”
