A horse has been rescued after it was stuck in deep mud in Chalfont St Peter.
At around 5pm on Sunday, January 3, two fire engines from Aylesbury Fire Station, one from Gerrards Cross Fire Station, and one from Caversham Road as well as an officer. attended the animal on Roberts Lane.

Firefighters used animal rescue equipment to release the horse and left it in the care of its owner and a vet.
