Members of the public quickly sprang into action after they noticed a man ‘slumped in the driver’s seat of a car’ in Aylesbury.

Several people approached the man on January 2, before he allegedly attempted to drive away but was blocked in by the members of the public until the police arrived.
Once they turned up, the driver took a roadside breath test which he failed.
He has since been charged with drink driving, driving whilst disqualified, driving with no insurance, and failing to provide a preliminary sample.

Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale confirmed that he was also wanted for breaching a court order.
