A motorway light caught fire in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
At around 1.30am on December 23, two fire engines from High Wycombe Fire Station and one from Watlington Fire Station in Oxfordshire, attended the scene on the M40 southbound between junctions 5 (Stokenchurch) and 4 (Handy Cross).

They managed to put out the fire, but it is not known how the fire started.
There were no reported injuries.
