A caravan worth more than £16,000 was stolen from a farm in Staffordshire - and discovered in Stokenchurch.
The Swift Challenger SE caravan discovered by police in the Bucks village after it was allegedly stolen from the Staffordshire farm it had been stored at for just four weeks.
Luckily for the devastated owners, a tracker they had fitted in the caravan by a company of the same name was activated once they were alerted it had been stolen - and police managed to find it in two hours and 45 minutes.
An arrest was reportedly made at the scene, with the help of a police helicopter crew.
Angela Rock, the caravan owner, said: “We had been told there was CCTV at the farm where the caravan was stored, but unfortunately, at the time of the theft it wasn’t working.
"The thieves cut off the caravan’s leg braces and hitch lock.
"The thought of not getting our caravan back was devastating as it had all our personal belongings stored in it.
"Thank goodness it had a Tracker unit fitted and the police were able to recover it quickly.”
The caravan has now been reunited with the owners.
