Organised by Housebuilder Magazine in partnership with the National House-Building Council (NHBC) and Home Builders Federation (HBF), the annual awards recognise and reward excellence across a wide range of disciplines within the UK housebuilding industry.
The scheme, which earned the home the nomination, has been designed for the over 70s and offer retirees the opportunity to maintain an independent lifestyle, while also having access to tailored domestic and personal assistance packages.
The retirement home is based on the Broadway in Amersham.
Julie Ward, who is the National Sales Director at McCarthy and Stone, comments: “As the leading developer and manager of retirement communities, we recognise the importance of building high-quality developments which meet the needs of today’s retirees and which can support independent and active lifestyles.

“Chiltern Place is a prime example of this approach and we are very proud to have received industry recognition for this.
“We look forward to the virtual awards ceremony in December, fingers crossed for an early Christmas present for the team.”
