Soap star Shane Richie made quite an impression on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here after he fell out of a hammock shortly after his arrival at Gwyrch Castle in Wales.
The inaugural episode of the popular TV show, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, aired on November 15 and also saw the actor, best known for playing Alfie Moon on EastEnders, pretend not to know who Olympic runner Mo Farah was.

Mr Richie, who is favourite to win I’m A Celebrity, has made a number of trips to south Bucks – and ahead of tonight’s episode, we have managed to unearth one of his trip to Woolworths, in High Wycombe, in 2003 for a book signing.
Hundreds of fans were left disappointed after Woolworths closed its doors once the store was full – even though they had arrived in time for the event.

Around 200 people were left outside the store who had turned up to meet the panto star, with the store’s manager at the time saying the decision was made for people’s safety, taking health and safety regulations into consideration.
One woman fainted and needed medical help during the signing.
He then returned to High Wycombe to turn on the town’s Christmas lights in 2009, and starred in Wycombe Swan’s panto, Aladdin, in the same year.
Mr Richie again delighted panto audiences at Wycombe Swan in 2013 and 2014, when he starred in Cinderella and Dick Whittington respectively.
