Tributes have been pouring in for Des O’Connor, who has died at the age of 88.
The television presenter, who was also a successful comedian and singer, died in hospital on Saturday, November 14, days after falling at his home in Buckinghamshire.
The entertainer had lived in Gerrards Cross for many years.

Following his death, big names from the entertainment world have paid tribute to him.
Comedy and presenting duo Ant and Dec said: "We are very sad to hear of the passing of Des O'Connor, a consummate professional and a lovely man.”
His former colleague Carol Vorderman also paid an emotional tribute to the presenter.
The two co-presented Countdown from 2007 to 2009, with the pair both leaving the show in the winter of that year.
Voderman took to Twitter and said: “RIP Des O'Connor.
“So sad this morning [Saturday, November 14] to hear that darling Des has passed away.
“He was lively, funny, he ALWAYS wanted to entertain people".

"He was the host of Countdown for a couple of years and was a joy to work with.
"I will remember him most tho [sic] for his brilliant chat shows in the days when families would gather around the telly to watch, Des O'Connor was the King.
"We'd cry laughing when Freddie Starr would pretend to be behaving and things would go badly wrong.
"Des will surely be entertaining the angels now.
"Rest in Peace & Laughter my friend."
Fellow television presenter Paddy McGuinness also paid his respects to the Bucks resident.
The Top Gear host said: "Such sad news.

“Des O'Connor was never afraid to laugh at himself and that was part of his charm.
“Whether it was Eric Morecambe ridiculing him, or Freddie Starr smashing his studio set up, Des always laughed along.
“Another part of my childhood telly viewing gone.
“RIP Des O'Connor."
O’Connor, was also on the books at Northampton Town Football Club during the 1940s, also paid their respects to their ex-reserve team player, as well as the current Match of the Day host, Gary Linekar.
Northampton Town tweeted: "We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Des O'Connor.
"Des famously played for our reserve team on a few occasions just after World War 2.
“Our thoughts are with all who knew Des."
Gary Linekar then added: "Saddened to hear that Des O'Connor has passed away.
“Truly lovely man and one of the great old school entertainers."
