A bin fire was seen in Holmer Green Common, with Thames Valley Police opening up an arson investigation.
TVP Chiltern and South Bucks were patrolling the area in the evening of Tuesday, November 10, when they saw fire come out of the public bin at around 6.30pm.
Just before that, they noticed ‘a group of youths were seen running' across the common around the same time the bin caught fire.
Bucks Fire and Rescue were called with firefighters from High Wycombe Fire Station putting out the blaze.

In a tweet, TVP Chiltern and South Bucks, said: “On antisocial behaviour patrols this evening at #HolmerGeeen.
"Group of youths were seen running across the common and shortly after a bin was seen alight.

Bucks Fire and Rescue added: "One appliance and crew from High Wycombe attended.
"Firefighters extinguished the fire.
"The incident is being investigated by Thames Valley Police.
"Please ring 101 if you can help with their enquiries."
