A project has begun to improve the welfare of the wildlife that lives in Marlow.
Organised by the Thames Valley Angling Association in High Wycombe, the project started on Monday, October 26, to try and clear out backwater and make improvements to the surrounding environment.
The project is being funded equally from Environment Agency Rod Licence money provided by anglers and Thames Water Utilities Ltd.
Work is being carried out by Aquamaintain Ltd with help from Stoney Ware Estates who own the opposing bank and fields.
It is being supported also by Andy Sherwood of Buckinghamshire Council.
The works should take around three weeks to complete.
