If planning application is granted, the site will be occupied by Domino’s Pizza once all necessary consents are in place.
The site is located within a parade of commercial units which includes a Tesco, a convenience store, a pharmacy, and several other takeaways.
The proposed takeaway will open between 11am and 2am on a daily basis and will generate 'a number of full-time and part-time employment opportunities', say developers.
In the converted premises, there will be a customer waiting area at the front of the building, containing of seats for customers waiting to collect their orders.
There will also be a food preparation area, a cold room, an office and staff toilets within the ground floor.
At the rear of the site, there will be a parking area which will be allocated to the delivery drivers and members of staff of the proposed takeaway.
