Thames Valley Police have provided an update after three children and a woman from Chinnor died in a crash near Oxford.
At around 9.50pm on Monday, October 12, a silver Subaru Outback and a white heavy goods vehicle came into contact on the railway overbridge just to the west of Oxford.
Emergency services were called after receiving multiple calls about a two-car crash.
After they arrived, they confirmed that a 29-year-old woman, a four-year-old girl, an eight-year-old girl, and a six-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene.
They also confirmed that an 18-month-old girl was also involved as well as a 30-year-old man, with the two expected to make a recovery.

Senior investigating officer Sergeant Dominic Mahon, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, based at Bicester, said: “We are still investigating the cause of this tragic collision which has resulted in the deaths of four people from the same family, a 29-year-old woman, an eight-year-old girl, a six-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl, all from Chinnor.
“We are able to update on the condition of the two other injured people, a 30-year-old man and an 18-month-old girl.
“Although their conditions are still serious, they are showing signs of improvement and are expected to make a recovery.
“No-one has been arrested in connection with this investigation, and the driver of the HGV has co-operated fully with our investigation throughout, providing a witness statement to officers.

“I would like re-iterate my comment from yesterday to please not speculate as to the cause of this tragic collision.
"To do so would be extremely distressing for the families, and will not assist our investigation in any way.
“However, I would still appeal for anybody who believes that they witnessed this collision and have not yet contacted police to please do so by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference number 43200321914.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anybody with dash-cam footage to please get in touch if it has captured anything that can help this investigation.
“Formal identification of all of the victims has not yet been confirmed, and we are not yet in a position to do so, but will update as soon as we are able to.
“I would ask for the privacy of all involved in this tragedy to please be respected at what is an incredibly traumatic time.”
