Two teenage stabbing suspects have been charged with attempted murder after a terrifying attack in High Wycombe town centre.
Detectives have been investigating the major incident since Monday when a man was reportedly chased and stabbed with a machete or sword in Easton Street.
The broad daylight knifing sent shockwaves through the town with the 19-year-old victim suffering serious injuries.

Romario Hale, 18, of Hennerton Way, High Wycombe, and a 16-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, also from High Wycombe, have since each charged with one count of attempted murder and one count of possession of a sharply bladed object in a public place.
The pair are set to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
Officers investigating the crime have not yet provided an update on the victim’s condition.
