On his confirmation, Rick Astley said: "Build me a small socially distanced theatre and I’ll perform twice on the same day!"
Tom Kerridge added: “We are so incredibly grateful to Rick.
“What a legend offering to perform not once but twice to accommodate his fans!
“He has inspired us to do more and we really hope you can join us.
“The line-up of live comedy and music we have managed to secure for the rest of the weekend is sure to keep the Marlow folks entertained.’’
The picnic has replaced the now postponed Pub in the Park, which was due to take place this month, after it was moved from May due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
