A car has crashed into a village pub and become embedded in the side of it - forcing the road outside to be shut by police.
A silver Audi has crashed into the Old Bell pub in Wooburn, forcing Town Lane to close to both cars and pedestrians.
There is a police cordon at the scene and officers are redirecting traffic.
Approaching from Wooburn Park, vehicles are being turned round at the junction with Thomas Road, by Spadeoak.

The crash is believed to have happened around midnight.
New owners have only recently taken over the running of the popular village pub, which dates back to the 16th century.

A statement on the pub's Facebook page reads: "Due to an unfortunately event that happened last night our pub will be closed today.
"Thank you very much for your understanding."
Owners also praised the community for their support since the crash.
