A MAN who was caught drink-driving while behind the wheel of a Porsche in Flackwell Heath has been banned for more than two years.
David Bowles, 36, was nearly three times over the drink-drive limit when he was caught driving a Porsche Cayenne on Sedgmoor Road on March 13 this year.
He had 101 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit in England is 35 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath.
He entered a guilty plea to a charge of drink-driving on June 22.
In a court hearing at Wycombe Magistrates’ on July 20, Mr Bowles, of no fixed address, was disqualified from driving for 25 months – although this will be reduced by 25 weeks if he completes a course by November 27.
He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work over the next 12 months, pay a £90 charge to fund victim services and costs of £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
