Currently, a new hall is in the process of being built and will roughly cost £2.2m to complete.
The Scouts and the Entertainer are encouraging on local residents to help complete the state-of-the art facility, which is aimed to serve the Amersham Scouts and wider community for future generations.
To help get the project off the ground, a private trust has donated £600,000, providing the Scouts can raise the matched funding from families, friends and the local community.
To date, a total of £1.63m has been raised.
The project will be the biggest investment in youth in Amersham in over a century.
Following a site visit at the end of July, Matt Hyde, chief executive of the Scout Association said: “This resource will serve the scouts and the wider community for many years to come.
