A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault with injury following an alleged attack in High Wycombe.
At around 7pm on Wednesday, July 29, a man in his 40s, was walking along West Wycombe Road near the BP Garage when he was allegedly assaulted by another man.
The man was approached from behind and was apparently knocked to the ground, which led him to receive cuts to his head.

He received treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has since been discharged.
The man who was arrested has since been released under investigation.
Investigating officer PC Jemma Wenman, based at High Wycombe police station said: “This is a busy road and it is likely that others may have witnessed this incident.
“If you did witness anything, or have any information that might help our investigation, please get in touch.
