A 15-year-old managed to escape after being kidnapped in High Wycombe on Saturday evening.
The boy was walking along the pavement in Kingston Road at around 7pm yesterday (August 1) when he was approached by a vehicle driven by a man.
The man pulled the victim into the vehicle and drove around the High Wycombe area before stopping outside the Best One convenience store in Totteridge Lane a short time later.
The victim then managed to get out of the vehicle and get away and fortunately was not injured in the incident.
The vehicle is described as dark coloured and small. There is no description currently available of the driver of the vehicle.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Steve Fox, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are carrying out an investigation and are working to establish more details as to what occurred.
“I would like to speak to anyone who has any information which could help our investigation, especially anyone who has any CCTV or dashcam footage would could be relevant.
“If you have any information which you think could be helpful to us, please call the non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference number 43200237254."
