More classes starting in September will be released at the beginning of August.
As a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic, adult learning courses in Buckinghamshire have been taught exclusively online for the last few months, and many classes will be continuing this way.
Following social distancing guidelines, now that face-to-face learning has restarted, adult learners will have additional opportunities to expand their skills and knowledge.
With a broad programme of over 1,500 part-time courses and workshops, delivered online and from multiple locations across Buckinghamshire – there is something to suit everyone.
Courses range from one-day to one-year, and cover beginner through to advanced levels, offering daytime and evening flexibility.
Courses include:
- English, ESOL and maths
- IT
- Employability
- Sign language
- Pilates
- Practical gardening
- Creative writing
- Watercolour painting
Classes allow students to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence in an environment where both tutors and learners offer support and encouragement.
Anita Cranmer, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, commented: "I am delighted that face-to-face learning for adults has now restarted in the county.
"While adult learning has continued during the lockdown through the use of online teaching, there are clearly many additional benefits of teaching in a face-to-face setting.
"These include, students having fewer distractions, the ability to discuss and learn from other students, and opportunities to practise new skills.
