To celebrate the reopening of pubs around the country, Marlow Rugby Club has confirmed that they will be opening their beer garden on Saturday, July 4.

The club, which launched their takeaway delivery service two weeks earlier, revealed their plan on Tuesday, June 30, with the beer garden being operated in a ‘Covid secure’ way.

The opening weekend will have two sessions available for those who would like a pint at Riverwoods, with those wanting to enjoy the rugby’s club space having to book in advance.

The club said: “In line with the announcement from the Government that pubs and restaurants and other businesses, can reopen on July 4, we are taking the learnings from the success of our riverside take-away service and will be opening our beer garden this weekend.

“We will reopen in a ‘Covid secure’ way, including plenty of hand sanitisation and washing facilities and full table service.

“The emphasis will be on families being able to enjoy the spacious surroundings of our club grounds in a safe but fun environment.

“Food, including a BBQ along with a full bar will be available for everyone to enjoy.”

The club’s opening hours will be from 12 (noon) to 5pm and 6pm to 11pm on Saturday, July 4 and 12 (noon) to 5pm and 6pm to 10.30pm on Sunday, July 5.

A table will have a maximum of six people whilst a ground seating area will have a capacity of eight people.
