Hundreds of people packed Marlow's Higginson Park in a safe manner for Tom Kerridge to officially announce that Meals for Marlow will become a permanent charity.
The 46-year-old chef launched the scheme in April after the country entered lockdown to help the needy, vulnerable, and elderly in Marlow and the surrounding areas.

He started the scheme with fellow founders Andy Agar and Chris Hughes, with an incredible total of £180,000 being raised so far.
And on June 27, Tom took to Higginson Park to not only announce the charity being a permanent aid to the vulnerable, but he also delivered the scheme’s 75,000th meal with the help of his colleagues at Pub in the Park, as well as those at All Saints Church and Marlow Town Council.
Commenting on the initiative, Tom said: “The people of Marlow are amazing.
"We are confident that we can make this scheme permanent, to continue feeding people in the town, and showing the town’s generosity for other people in need.”
