Parking at Bucks hospitals is set to stay free until August 1.
Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust, which runs Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville as well as five community hospitals in Buckingham, Gerrards Cross, Marlow and Thame, made the announcement on Thursday afternoon.
It comes after Buckinghamshire Council also extended free parking in its 84 car parks until the same date.
Neil Macdonald, Chief Executive of Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust, said: āIām pleased to be able to extend free parking across Trust sites until August 1.
"But as more people return to work, and high street shops reopen, we need to deter from people from using our parking inappropriately.
"By reintroducing car parking charges we can ensure that we keep our limited parking spaces free for patients and visitors.ā
