A pensioner’s home in Chinnor was entered illegally before the offenders ran off without goods.
Between 2pm and 1.30pm on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, the alleged perpetrators gained entry to a property on Thame Road by damaging a side door.
The first floor of the home was searched but those who entered the property may have fled, after being disturbed by an intruder alarm.

Nothing was stolen and the occupant, a woman in her 70s, was not in the property at the time.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Daniel Tibble, based at Abingdon police station, said: “This was a frightening experience for the victim, a woman in her seventies, and I am appealing to anyone who has any information to come forward.
“Several neighbours reported hearing the intruder alarm sounding at various times on Saturday, one of which was minutes after the victim had left the property. If you saw anyone waiting close to the property, or anything else that seemed suspicious, get in touch.
