A car crashed into a wall on a busy Wooburn Green road this afternoon, with all emergency services – including the air ambulance – rushing to the scene.
A navy blue Toyota Yaris smashed into a brick wall on Whitepit Lane, between the junctions for Old Station Way and Bakers Orchard, at around 3.30pm.
The only details Thames Valley Police have so far confirmed is that it was a serious crash.
Dozens of police officers, paramedics and firefighters assisted at the scene, with the Thames Valley Air Ambulance landing on The Green.
The air ambulance took off at around 5.30pm, without any patients on board.
Collision investigators were analysing the scene.
As of 7pm, the road was still closed off to traffic, with recovery of the seriously damaged vehicle taking place.
