A man was killed in a car crash in Milton Keynes on Saturday evening.
At around 9.50pm, an orange Nissan Micra was travelling along Standing Way H8.
The vehicle then left the road, close to the junctions of Marina Road and Hospital Road, and hit a line of trees on the opposite side of the carriageway.
The driver of the car, a man in his fifties, was taken to hospital where he sadly later died.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Investigating officer, PC Ian Baldock, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to please come forward.
“Furthermore, if you were in the area around the time of the incident and have a dash-cam, please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with our investigation.
“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online, quoting reference 43200137129, or if you do not have access online, you can call 101.”
