Children in Marlow are being encouraged to send their letters, drawings, and well wishes to the town’s Age Concern branch.
In a Facebook post by Marlow councillor Suzanne Brown on April 23, she has urged people who have children in the area as well as the surrounding villages to send their letters to the elderly.
This comes after many elderly people in the town are currently living on their own due to the current coronavirus outbreak.

Her original Facebook post was accompanied with a photo of some of the letters and drawings other children had sent in.
She said: “Please can other children do this and post through Marlow age concern door 38 Glade road as this has given so much joy to the elderly.
“Picture, words, whatever.

“Thank you.
“Keep well.”
The post was met with praise, with many users revealing that they were going to get their children to take part.
