Our feature last week on Wycombe’s pubs went down a treat - so we are looking at some more this week.
This first picture is a group portrait with horse-drawn brewer’s dray outside the Beaconsfield Arms on Hughenden Road, High Wycombe, circa 1900.
The pub is now shut and plans were submitted last year to turn it into flats but they were refused.

This amazing picture from November 1884 shows two former High Street pubs in High Wycombe - the Cross Keys and The Wheatsheaf pubs, both decorated with flags.
The historic buildings are still there but they are now shops.
